Dante Alighieri was born in Florence and spent much of his later life in exile. His relationship with the city remained central to his identity and to the imaginative world of the Divine Comedy.
Settembre Dantesco treats that relationship not simply as a historical subject, but as a cultural conversation carried through monuments, manuscripts, art, cinema and public memory.
The project material preserved here includes photographic documentation, cultural events, film work and images from Florence and Ravenna.
